The Delvin family farm has been growing local produce since 1972. The 140 acre farm located in College Grove along the Harpeth River is home to two generations of family farmers.
They grow a large variety of certified organic vegetables ten months out of the year. Delvin Farms began in 1972 with Hank, Sr. and Cindy Delvin and their children, Hank Jr., Eric and Amy. From 1972- 1997 the farm produce was sold through distribution centers, Shoneys and grocery stores. In 1997 Hank and Cindy began the process of turning the farm into a certified organic operation and the farm became certified organic in 1998.
Delvin Farms believes in growing methods that improve our environment by enhancing the quality of their water, building their soils for healthy plants and by not using harmful chemicals in their farming. Their organic vegetables are packed with nutrients extracted from their deep mineral rich soils, clean air and fresh water. Throughout the seasons you can find over 80 varieties of heirloom and traditional vegetables grown on their farm.
The Delvin family farm consists of Hank and Cindy (mom and dad) their daughter Amy, her husband, Brandon, son Hank Jr., his wife, Liz.
