One family, one farm. The Dandy Breeze is family owned and operated by the Waitt family. Tom and Sally Waitt have been milking cows for over 30 years. They graduated from Purdue University in Farm and Agricultural Science. For the past 30 years, they have been selling milk to co-ops. It has been a 15 year family dream that came true in the summer of 2017. Tom not only runs the farm, but he teaches 7th grade science in Westfield, Indiana.
All Dandy Breeze Creamery products are from pastured based Jersey cows. Jerseys's naturally produce more protein, calcium, phosphorus, and "good for you fats" than any other breed. Their all-grass diet enhances the taste even more and offers the "nearly natural" consumer an alternative to conventional and multi-sourced organic milk.
Because they never homogenize, the fats globules (cream) rises to the top. So, the "good fats" are more readily used and digested. Shake well, the cream's on top!
