Boerewors is a South African farmer’s (boer) sausage (wors) typically made with beef, but also wild Gemsbok, Springbok, Wildebeest, or Kudu. But since we don’t have wild South African game, Grass-fed / Grain-finished beef will work just fine. Boerewors is seasoned with black pepper, coriander, clove, allspice and nutmeg and is one large link that can be grilled, baked or pan fried. Eat this bad boy with some South African Pinotage or Chenin blanc!
