Cilantro can be identified by its lacy green leaves and pungent flavor. Cilantro's bright and refreshing taste can add flavor to any dish when used as a garnish, but can also be the main ingredient in many sauces, most commonly guacamole!
Most recipes call for a small amount of cilantro, but luckily there are a lot of different uses for the herb! Add cilantro to your cocktails, slaw, salad, or scrambled eggs to add color and flavor. Cilantro is best used raw and is rarely (if ever) cooked.
To store, place the cilantro stems in a small jar filled with fresh water and place a plastic bag over the leaves. Store in the refrigerator until you're ready to use it!
