Steaming collard greens will help them retain their maximum nutrition and flavor. Leaves that are smaller in size will be more tender and will have a milder flavor.
Place collard greens in a plastic bag and remove as much air as possible before storing in the refrigerator. Greens should stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to five days.
