Carr Valley is owned and operated by the Cook family and began their operation in 1902. They produce high-quality, artisanal cheese made by hand--the old fashioned way. Using cow, sheep and goat milk from local farmers, Carr Valley now produces more than 50 original varieties of cheese. They have won numerous awards and their Certified Master Cheesemaker, Sid Cook, has won more top national and international awards than any other cheesemaker in North America.
