The bison are hormone-free and antibiotic-free and thrive on a diet of natural, free-range grazing with brief introduction to grain before processing (to whiten the fat and give the meat a more uniform flavor profile). Each animal is source-verified and can be traced back to the ranch where they were born.
Unlike many other bison producers, they have the ability to oversee the care of the animals through the entire process. They operate a harvest facility in New Rockford, ND — recognized by many to be one of the most humane harvest facilities in the United States. This facility is one of only a few USDA and EU-approved bison processing facilities in the United States.
